Frequently Asked Questions
What does Miralis do?
Miralis is a virtual firmware monitor, it virtualizes firmware like traditional hypervisors virtualize operating systems. This can be used for isolation purposes: either by isolating an OS from runtime firmware, or by partitioning a physical machine resources into isolated components.
What architectures does Miralis support?
So far Miralis only supports 64 bits RISC-V platforms. In order to virtualize firmware Miralis requires at least support for U-mode.
